Workshops

Cloud Collective Residency offers a variety of workshops throughout the year. The Artist’s Way Workshop and its graduating follow-ups, The Path and The Elements of Design, our bi-annual staples, are courses designed to fertilize your creative potential and unlock new levels of creative freedom. We also offer workshops centered around the therapeutic benefits of art, medium-specific courses, as well as workshops specific to the seasons and holidays.

Artist’s Way Workshop

There is untapped brilliance inside you: what is it nudging you to do?

This is your opportunity to dive deep into your creative potential. Using Julia Cameron’s best-selling book The Artist’s Way as a guide, our course is designed to help you tap into your artist within and get you building new life-affirming habits along the way. While studying, writing, discussing, and making art together, you and and your fellow participants will forge a supportive community as you commit to strengthening your connection to your creative self.

  • The Artist’s Way Workshop is a 13-session course that occurs bi-annually. Check out our calendar for upcoming dates.

  • No experience required. For seasoned artist’s and beginners alike. Students will require a copy of Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way, a note- or sketch-book, a favorite writing utensil, (and something intangible here?)

—Buffy, Artist’s Way Workshop participant

The Path

A multimedia exploration of creativity, bravery, and their life-enhancing capabilities or, ancient and modern advice on how to live your best life.

You’ll be using familiar tools from your time with The Artist’s Way to explore new territory, as well as immersing yourself into a variety of new texts. And, like the Artist’s Way Workshop, you’ll be joined by your cohort of fellow explorers, and together you’ll create new maps of creative possibility.
