Creative Mentorship

Perhaps you have an idea for a project but don’t know where to start. Perhaps you want to get your creative juices flowing but don’t know how. Perhaps you used to make art all the time but have found lately that you just can’t. Cloud Collective Residency’s Creative Mentorship is designed to give you the time, space, focus, and the support you need to bring your creativity to life. Working one-on-one with Cloud Collective Residency’s founder, Meg Winnecour, you will discover sources for joy, ease, and the freedom required for ultimate success in your creative practice.

Meg here—

There is nothing more frustrating than having the desire—the need—to create and being unable to do so! I’ve experienced it myself as a practicing artist, and in my years of teaching art I’ve seen it time and again in my students. Fortunately, in those same years of teaching, I’ve picked up tons of wisdom and a range of techniques that have helped me and others discover what it is exactly that is blocking creative flow. Now, I’m taking all of the wisdom and guidance I’ve gathered over the years and am offering mentorships tailor-made to any creative’s own personal creative needs. In the role of mentor I am humbled to have helped folks articulate their vision of a life buoyed by their own creativity and then have helped them achieve it!

I am stunned to have the opportunity to offer these mentorship sessions to you, either in person here at Cloud Collective Residency in Asheville or virtually, whatever best suits your needs.

In these sessions we can:

  • Find ways to develop your authentic creative practice.

  • Strategize how to overcome creative stumbling blocks.

  • Plan and implement your next creative project.

  • Break out art supplies (paint, collage, pastels, clay—whatever gets you going) and create together.

  • Meditate to make contact with your highest self, your inner creator.

  • Learn strategies to conquer a perfectionistic mindset.

  • Uncover a deep well of peace and joy through the simple act of making.

I so look forward to getting to know you and your creative self—and to helping you do the same!

All the best to you on your creative journey,

Cloud Collective Residency’s founder, Meg Winnecour
